Artificial Intelligence is a field of study in Computer science based on human brain behaviors. Well, computer scientists technically couldn't imitate the whole process of our brain proceeding multiple signals through neurons. It's still a mystery to Neuroscientists to find out actually how the human brain works. Computer scientists have made assumptions and working continuously building algorithms that act like the human brain. Sort of. After the massive eruption in the AI field as the application of AI is positive and most of the time working in our favor, people are joining in to AI immensely. It's really amazing of course and beneficial for all humankind such as in health sector, predicting diseases that used to take a lot of time before, now can be done quickly and accurately. And many more. A simple google search could give you a better result than I can write here.
Now what part most amazed me as a computer science student, People are investing way much time in the application of AI. Some great scientists have developed an AI algorithm almost three, four decades ago, we are still using the same algorithms. Most of us just leave our hands off by applying bunch linear, non-linear time series analysis algorithms on datasets(which has obvious doubt about validity). And once we get results, then publish it into some journals or conferences just to call ourselves AI computer scientists. In Bangladesh, I have serious doubt how many companies, e-commerce sites, banks actually take the benefit of AI by doing research on customers.
